UDS Country Style Pork Ribs Recipe

I really like this guys ugly drum smoker (UDS). Especially when it’s loaded up with these succulent looking country style pork ribs.

He’s using yellow mustard as a base to hold onto his rub. He doesn’t go into the ingredients of the rub but if you use the basic paprika, black pepper, chili powder, cayenne powder mix you should be good to go.  It sounds like he added brown sugar to either the rub or the sauce.

He used apple and hickory wood for the smoke and lump charcoal for the smoker. The actual smoking time was just over 2 1/2 hours but with time for the glaze to set on the ribs and resting time after the smoke the total time was about 3 hours.

Make sure you smoke the ribs until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Happy Smoking!
