I have to admit, my first thought was “who doesn’t know how to carve a turkey”? Then again, there are lots of people who have never done it and may want to know, particularly with Thanksgiving just around the corner. So, here’s visual instructions on how to carve (and tear) a freshly smoked turkey.
Did you learn anything you didn’t already know? What would you do differently from what Chris did?

I would not use an electric knife. I know that many amateurs will be watching this video who may lack confidence in using a non-electric knife, or any knife for that matter, but in my experience in watching unskilled people try to use an electric knife they generally make more of a mess out of something they could do more efficiently with a sharpened chef’s knife. Other than that one small criticism the method Chris uses is the fastest and most efficient way of “carving” the bird.
