- Always remove the rib membrane – Use a spoon or a knife to grab it and pull it off
- Apply your rub to both sides of each rib
- Cook ribs at 250 degrees until the desired final color is reached – around 3 hours
- Put the ribs on aluminum foil and drizzle apple juice on top
- Wrap them up in the foil and put them on the smoker again at 250 degrees
- Check in 1 – 2 hours for the meat to pull back from the bone
- When done, unfoil and put back in the smoker
- Add sauce and cook for another 15 minutes
